Improv returns to LTCC stage

Random Acts of Improv will host a single performance Friday in the Duke Theatre at Lake Tahoe Community College.

The team is the Lake Tahoe Community College Theatre Arts Department’s own improvisation group. It was started in 2012 by Theatre Arts Department Director Susan Boulanger when she realized the level of interest in improvisation by Lake Tahoe performers and audiences alike.

“I am so thrilled to be able to offer improvisation on a regular basis now,” Boulanger said in a press release. “Our first show in January was a blast, and we had such a great audience. This show promises to be just as fun!”

This family-friendly show will feature seasoned improvisation performers, including members of the Tahoe Improv Players, as well as a few fresh faces, according to the release.

The show will begin Friday at 7:30 pm in the Duke Theatre. Tickets cost $5 at the door. For information, call 530-541-4660, ext. 240.
