On the Hill: Mountain Run opens at Squaw


On the Hill, brought to you by the Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, brings you a video report showcasing Tahoe's ski conditions every day.

Breakdown: Join Tahoe 'On the Hill' reporter Matt Hardy for a run down the newly opened Mountain Run at Squaw Valley. You can now enjoy top to bottom skiing and riding. Ten lifts spinning, 21 trails open (10 groomed).

Squaw Valley official report: 0" overnight, 28" in last week

Field report: Bluebird with great corduroy.

Weather: Sunny, with temps warming to 40.

Liftline status: The Funitel and Gold Coast weren’t crowded at 9:00AM. Lines will remain short the rest of the day.

Run of the day: The Mountain Run was nicely groomed. Didn’t see even one other person.

Snowcast: There is nothing currently in the forecast for the next week. Temperatures will slowly warm this week with a high of 41 degrees today.
