Sunshine Letters | Optimist tree sales support youth programs

Optimist tree sales support youth programs

Once again, the Truckee Optimist Club has successfully raised significant profits through our annual Christmas tree sales. All of the proceeds from these sales will be used for scholarships and numerous sports and education programs for our youth.

This endeavor would not have been possible without the ongoing support and generosity of Save Mart Supermarkets. Their generous donation of parking space in their shopping center made possible our successful endeavor.

Save Mart Supermarkets has a credo of “giving back to their communities” and this was a vivid display of the corporate belief and their effort to truly be part of the community in which they do business

CVS Drugs has also been a sponsor and friend of our tree sales for many years, and we would like to also thank them for their support.

Furthermore, we would like to thank Truckee Tahoe Propane, Village Pizzeria and the Tahoe-Truckee Disposal Company for their generosity.

We would also like to extend our deepest appreciation to our customers and the numerous individuals who have given their time to make this program successful.
