Obama campaign announces Lake Tahoe office

Print Comment
Incline Village will be the home of Nevada's latest Obama for American campaign office, bringing the total number of offices in the state to 11.

An open house will be held Jan. 3 to coincide with the Iowa caucuses. Barak Obama is an U.S. senator from Illinois and a Democrat.

The office will be located at 923 Tahoe Boulevard Suite 210, in Incline Village.

“This new office will provide additional support to the strong grassroots organization we’ve built in every corner of Nevada,” said David Cohen, Obama’s Nevada state director. “The new office space gives our dedicated supporters from Incline Village and greater North Lake Tahoe a place in their community to get involved on the ground level of Barack Obama’s campaign for change.”

The Obama campaign also has local offices in Reno, Carson City, Winnemucca, Elko, Pahrump, Boulder City, Henderson, North Las Vegas and two in Las Vegas.

Nevada will hold the third major Democratic presidential nomination contest on Jan. 19.
