Readers write: A wild ride

It was a wild ride! A ride that I will never regret and while I am obviously disappointed by the outcome of the election, as many well know in life sometimes the journey is much more important than the destination and in this instance it could be no further from the truth.

During the campaign I had the good fortune of meeting so many quality people and it was truly my honor to take part in this election. To my supporters, words cannot express my appreciation and please take comfort in knowing that I will not go quietly into the night as I fully intend to remain engaged in the run-off between Jennifer Montgomery and Bruce Kranz as it evolves over the next several months. My best to the victors and, again, my humble thanks to all of those that made this experience so exciting and memorable.
