For the second year in a row Trails and Vistas performed to a sold out crowd on Donner Summit Saturday and Sunday.
The popularity of the event expanded it to two days, founder Nancy Tieken Lopez said.
This years theme was Songs of the Earth featuring Emmy Award-winning musician Chris Spheeris, Lakota flute player Chief Red Hawk, belly dancer Ava Fleming and performances by InnerRhythms Dance Theatre, to name a few.

It was provocative and charming and in a fabulous setting, said attendee Laury Joesph. The dancers inspired us with (the performance) to the Beatles song Let it Be. I will be back next year.
The concept is beautiful, Spheeris said of participating in Trails and Vistas. Its the most unique fundraising Ive ever been asked to do. Im really happy to give something back. I think Nancys spirit convinced me to do it. The causes are really important.
The event benefits Arts for the Schools, InnerRythms Dance Theatre and Truckee Donner Land Trust.
