Letter to the Editor: Remember Bender

My name is Curtis Blassingame and I am writing to share my thoughts on why Jeff Bender would be a smart choice for TDPUD. Jeff is a successful mechanical engineer and local green building consultant with his own business here in Truckee. Currently, he is the Chair on the Truckee Planning Commission and has donated all his earnings to non-profits. He also stays active in our community. I believe that his attitude and commitment to renewable energy is spot on and is the direction that our community needs to be going. There are a number of important issues that the Board is working on, and I am confident Jeff is best able to deal with these issues in an informative manner which involves the ratepayers. Let's come together and get Jeff Bender (the only professional engineer running) on the TDPUD Board of Directors.
