North Tahoe Regional Park: It's all mapped out

TAHOE VISTA — The North Tahoe Public Utility District unveiled an updated map for the the North Tahoe Regional Park that reflects new facilities, provides current information about available rentals and information on the District's Friends of the Park Fund.

“We are excited to provide a new and updated resource for the residents and visitors who come to the North Tahoe Regional Park to recreate,” says Kathy Long, Parks and Facilities Manager for the District.



The map is available at the North Tahoe Public Utility District offices in Tahoe Vista or the North Tahoe Event Center in Kings Beach. In the coming weeks, the District will also deliver maps to local lodging properties. Contact Pam Lefrancois at (530) 546-4212 to arrange for a lodging property map pick up. The map was redesigned by SmallPond Studios in Truckee.

The North Tahoe Public Utility District provides sewer and water service to the residents of Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay, Cedar Flat and Agate Bay. The District owns, manages and maintains the North Tahoe Regional Park in Tahoe Vista which provides recreation opportunities to residents and visitors.

In addition, the NTPUD owns and/or maintains all of the public beaches in the District including Kings Beach State Recreation Area, Tahoe Vista Recreation Area, and Secline Beach to name just a few. The North Tahoe Event Center in downtown Kings Beach is also owned and managed by the NTPUD.
