NORTHSTAR-AT-TAHOE — The Ritz-Carlton Highlands, Lake Tahoe announces today the online posting of nearly 300 jobs for the resort's opening on Dec. 9 mid-mountain.
Though many leadership positions have been filled from The Ritz-Carlton around the globe, expectations are that the vast majority of these new postings, will be filled by local candidates in Lake Tahoe, Northern California and nearby Reno, Nevada.
“It's exciting to see the final details of the resort's completion and know that The Ritz-Carlton is creating jobs in North Lake Tahoe,” said Allen Highfield, general manager for the resort. Management and non-management jobs will be created in guest services, culinary, engineering, housekeeping and food & beverage departments. A few administrative jobs will be posted as well.

The $300 million project, situated mid-mountain in the Northstar-at-Tahoe ski area will feature ski-in, ski-out access with mountain concierge services, Manzanita, the resort's signature restaurant by renowned San Francisco chef Traci Des Jardins, a 17,000 square foot spa and fitness center and preferred access to the Old Greenwood and Coyote Moon golf courses.
