KINGS BEACH, Calif. — The nature of the Sierra Nevada region, climate change and conservation will be key topics at this weekend's Sierra Nevada Alliance conference.
The theme of the 16th annual conference is Celebrating the Nature of the Sierra. The conference features 13 conservation workshops, two keynote speakers, a silent auction and dinner party. It takes place at the North Tahoe Conference Center at Kings Beach.
This year the conference features two keynote speakers — Anthony Brunello, Deputy Secretary of Climate Change and Energy for the Natural Resources Agency of California; and Larry Schweiger, President of the National Wildlife Federation.
