TRUCKEE, Calif. — The arson case involving a local chiropractor accused of burning down her home and a pair of business offices still awaits trial.

Dr. Erinn Tamney Randall pleaded not guilty earlier this summer to burning her Glenshire home, a downtown chiropractic office and a building in Loyalton in the first week of June.

At a pre-trail hearing Tuesday in Nevada County Courthouse, Deputy District Attorney Bill Cornell said he asked for trial dates to be set, which Judge C. Anders Holmer deferred until a pre-trial hearing Tuesday, Nov. 17.

Cornell said that while Calfire prepared final reports on the two Truckee fires quickly, he didn't receive the one from Sierra County, also being considered in this case, until last month.

Randall could face up to nine years in prison, Cornell said, and is still in custody in Nevada County Jail in Grass Valley.

Her initial bail was set at $1 million, but was later reduced to $250,000, Cornell said.
