TRUCKEE, Calif. — Papoose Preschool and Infant Care raised $205 for the KidZone Museum by hosting a movie night for children and night out for parents. Dragonfly also offered 25 percent off to parents who dined there for their night out.
“This is a great way to let parents have a night out, while also contributing to our local community children's programs,” said owner and director of Papoose Dana Mudd. “KidZone is a great place for kids to learn and grow; we wanted to show our thanks for what they provide to our children and allowing us to borrow costumes for our ‘farm' study.”
Papoose youth enjoyed a Hoe Down at KidZone, complete with barnyard activities, snacks and Charlotte's Web on the big screen, while their parents had a night out. Donations came from both Papoose and Dragonfly.
“We are so grateful for the support of our local community and businesses,” said Carol Meagher, director or KidZone. “KidZone relies on local support and it's great to have Papoose and Dragonfly working with us to provide this to our kids.”
