TRUCKEE, Calif. — A section of Interstate 80 between Truckee and the Nevada state line that was closed down Friday morning after a big-rig accident is expected to reopen by noon, Caltrans has announced.
The section of highway in question is eastbound I-80 between Hirshdale and the California/Nevada State line.
“The closures are necessary for a hazmat cleanup and guardrail repair due to a big rig accident,” according to a Caltrans press release.
