TRUCKEE, Calif. — Truckee songwriter Gordon Simons and his recording group, Simons & Cameron released a new song for Super Bowl Sunday. The sports single was written by Simons and partner, Lane Cameron, and is now being played around America. You can hear the song at www.OurLoveIsLikeSuperbowlSunday.com.

Simons & Cameron specializes in holiday songs, patriotic anthems, tribute songs and comedy tunes. Simons is now marketing their sports song to radio and TV stations, including Indianapolis, Boston and New York. It is playing on such stations as Hot Mix 106 and “Hoss The Boss” Radio in Texas.

“Our Love Is Like Super Bowl Sunday” is the latest in a long line of musical successes for the Truckee songwriter. His Halloween songs played on network television for three of the last four years, his Christmas songs played around the world, and he and Shaun Cameron produced a patriotic music video during the summer that featured army and navy officers and dozens of Truckee girls. “I'm Proud To Be An American Girl” is at You Tube. He also had a Martin Luther King, Jr. tribute song.

An avid football fan, Simons has been to six Super Bowls himself, including Super Bowl VII featuring the undefeated Miami Dolphins and the Washington Redskins. The 20-year Truckee resident is gearing up for a big 2012, starting with his fun, new Simons & Cameron sports song, “Our Love Is Like Super Bowl Sunday,” now available on iTunes and Amazon.com.
