A message in flowers for your Valentine
Valentine (val-uhn-tahyn) n. a written or other artistic work, message, token, etc., expressing affection for someone, according to Dictionary.com.
Nowhere does the definition mention an obligatory delivery of a dozen red roses. They love red roses at Suzu's Petals, but why not branch out and put some thought behind your choice in flowers? Suzu's Petals put new twist to the old traditions, bringing meaning to your Valentine's by offering “A Message in Flowers.” Using the Victorian language of flowers, they are selected to convey a specific meaning. For example, tulips mean a declaration of love; daffodils are for new beginnings, and of course the red rose equals love. Check out more flowers and their meanings at suzuspetals.com and click on the Cupid. Sending a “bouquet with meaning” to your sweetheart is romantic, sexy and uniquely from you! Order by Friday, Feb. 10 for a 10 percent discount, guaranteed selections and any special requests. Flower arrangements start at $35, plus delivery. Call Susan at 530-448-9966.
