TRUCKEE, Calif. — Two local residents were arrested Tuesday and face felony charges after authorities seized a half-pound of cocaine and $10,000 in cash from a downtown residence, police said Thursday.
According to a Truckee Police Department press release, the department's Investigations Division arrested Conrado Rodriguea-Quintero and Salvador Ruvalcaba-Munoz, both of Truckee, following a four-month investigation.
The cocaine was packaged for distribution when it was seized, police said.
“The cocaine was located in an area of the residence that was accessible to children living at the residence,” police said.
Rodriguea-Quintero was arrested on suspicion of possession of narcotics, sales of cocaine, criminal conspiracy and child endangerment. Ruvalcaba-Munoz was arrested on suspicion of sales of cocaine and criminal conspiracy.
Both suspects were taken into custody without incident and booked into the Nevada County Jail for prosecution.
