TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. — Tahoe Donner’s third annual Waterpalooza is a two-day summer celebration of water-themed fun and games, a mega slip’n slide, and pool facilities. It all happens at Tahoe Donner’s Trout Creek Recreation Center and driving range July 6-7 and Aug. 10-11. Cost is $15 for an unlimited wristband or $1 per ticket; food, games and ride ticket prices vary.

Get your gumbo on at Tahoe Donner’s annual summer concert, which is going to be funkier than ever. New Orleans group Dwayne Dopsie and the Zydeco Hellraisers will perform along with local bands JellyBread and the Buddy Emmer Blues Band. The show will take place 4-10 p.m. on Tahoe Donner’s driving range, a gentle grassy slope surrounded by giant pines. Performers often say it’s one of the more beautiful and relaxed settings they have played. Guests can come along and enjoy the music, food and drinks in a wonderful outdoor location. Gates open at 3 p.m.
