Truckee Surgery Center welcomes two new doctors
TRUCKEE, Calif. — Truckee Surgery Center is pleased to announce Dr. Andrew Ringnes, orthopedic surgeon, and Dr. Jacob Blake, pain management specialist, are now offering services at the Truckee Surgery Center.
The addition of these talented physicians will allow even more opportunity for Truckee and North Tahoe residents to stay local for surgeries and pain management procedures while receiving the highest-quality of care.

Dr. Ringnes works at North Tahoe Orthopedics and is currently accepting new patients in its Truckee office. Dr. Ringnes earned his medical degree at Tulane University, completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency at William Beaumont Hospital and an Orthopedic Trauma fellowship at the prestigious Stanford University, where he gained specialized experience in complex fractures, pelvic injuries and hip reconstruction.
Dr. Ringnes treats all orthopedics conditions including arthritis, fractures, soft tissue injuries and hip issues, as well as upper and lower extremity injuries.
Dr. Blake works at Sierra Neurosurgery Group and sees patients in Truckee and Reno. Dr. Blake specializes in Interventional Pain Management Services for both acute and chronic pain including epidural steroid injections, joint injections, blocks and radio-frequency (RF) Leisoning.
He earned a medical degree from University of Nevada School of Medicine where he developed a further interest in pharmacology and physiology. Dr. Blake went on to a residency in anesthesiology at University of California, San Diego, where he was both Chief Resident and Regional Anesthesia Resident of the Year.
