1. 7th annual Guitarfish Music Festival



Enjoy original, progressive music in the form of funk, folk, reggae, jazz, rock and more, while raising awareness of watershed, river and stream preservation. Hike, bike, swim, and shop in the open-air food and vendor market.

2. Friday Night BBQ at Greenhorn Ranch

Savor all-you-can-eat barbecue chicken, ribs, sides and dessert, book a horseback ride, play lawn games, fish, swim in the pool, and enjoy fun company all evening long.

3. 5th annual Lake Tahoe Dance Festival

Enjoy gorgeous movement and music during the festival’s final performance evening from the Truckee Amphitheater. Highly acclaimed dance companies, dancers, and choreographers will convene to give a spectacular performance.

4. Jack Johnson at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harvey’s

The final stop in their tour, John Craigie will open for Jack Johnson at Harvey’s Outdoor Arena, bringing soulful acoustic sounds.

5. 37th annual Squaw Mountain Run

Challenge yourself alongside hundreds of runners and hikers as you make your way to the top of Squaw Valley. The course climbs 2,000 feet in 3.6 miles where the trip is made worthwhile by breathtaking views, music, refreshments, a raffle, and awards.

6. Summer Festival and Playawear Workshop

Learn from the experts to create the look that best expresses your individuality at any festival you might be attending this summer. Using different materials like faux fur, you’ll receive hands-on help in learning to bring your own garment design to life.

7. Carpenter Valley Nature Preserve Hike

Join Truckee Donner Land Trust on an exclusive, guided hike to lower Carpenter Valley led by docents ready to answer all of the environmental questions the group has.

8. Wild Bill’s Thrill & Grill

9. Concerts at Commons Beach

This Sunday, Kuinka will perform their folk rock tunes from Commons Beach. Bring a low-back chair, snacks, and your favorite people for a fun evening on the shore of Lake Tahoe.

10. Tahoe Chamber Music Society Final Concert
