Sunshine Letter: Restoring faith in humanity
Thank you to Jeff Fallow, who went above and beyond to help a stranger, Darcy Medina — that’s me — in the parking lot of Truckee Elementary School the other week.
After several failed attempts to jump her car while his grandson waited patiently in his truck, Mr. Fallow said goodbye and good luck. The next day, Ward & Sons performed exceptional service, fixing the car in the school’s parking lot where it had stayed overnight.
Much to everyone’s surprise, Mr. Fallow had went to Ward & Sons that afternoon and requested that he pay for the repair of the car he had tried to help jump the day before.
“It definitely restored my faith in humanity,” said Dave from Ward & Sons. This act of kindness was unexpected and will be remembered the next time I encounter an opportunity to help someone — whether they ask for it or not.
