Happy Birthday America. Celebrate the Fourth of July Tahoe style and please have a safe holiday. Remember, all of our friends and neighbors on duty this weekend: our fire department, Washoe Country Sheriff’s, Nevada Highway Patrol, IVGID employees, doctors and nurses, the many local volunteers working at Red White and Tahoe Blue, and of course a special shout out to all of our active duty military men and women around the world.

Tour homes, gardens and art collections in Incline and take a tour of The Holman Arts & Media Center at Sierra Nevada College for the AAUW self-guided tour, Tahoe Treasures from 11 a.m-4 p.m. on Saturday, July 12. Tickets are on sale at the Potlatch, with the proceeds from this fundraiser going to support AAUW’s scholarship program for local women.
