Below are select incidents from the Truckee Police Department’s press log for Nov. 8-15.

People arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

November 8



At 11:51 a.m., officers responded to a school on Pioneer Trail regarding a student brining marijuana to school.

At 1:09 p.m. on Deerfield Drive, officers responded to a report of an intoxicated subject with a firearm.

At 8:49 p.m. on Salmon Street, a boyfriend abused his girlfriend in front of female’s son. Parties were separated and the male was arrested for domestic violence.

At 11:38 p.m. on Somerset Drive, a driver contacted at the scene of an accident was arrested for DUI.

November 9

At 2:48 p.m. on College Trail a male subject entered the college campus creating a disturbance.

At 6:31 p.m. on Pioneer Trail, police responded to assist a business with a subject who was acting bizarre.

At 9:33 p.m., police assisted Placer County officers who were pursuing a bicycle rider for assaulting an officer.

November 10

At 7:26 a.m. on Estates Drive, an unknown subject stole items from the back of a vehicle.

At 8:04 a.m. on Estates Drive, in a separate incident, unknown suspects stole items from vehicles in an apartment complex parking lot overnight.

At 8:21 a.m. on Estates Drive, in another separate incident, officers took a report of items stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

At 7:30 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, officers took a report of a juvenile who had habitually trespassed on a school campus and threatened a school official.

November 11

At 12:36 a.m. on Donner Pass Road, officers took a report of a subject who pushed his girlfriend to the ground during an argument. Arrest made.

November 12

At 12:18 a.m., a vehicle stopped for code violations resulting in the driver being arrested for DUI.

At 1:02 p.m. on Martis Valley Road, a husband grabbed and ripped the shirt of his victim during an argument. Case forwarded to the District Attorney.

November 13

At 1:54 a.m., a vehicle stopped for code violations resulting in the driver being arrested for DUI.

At 9:25 a.m. on Belford Place, a victim received threatening emails from a student.

At 10:45 p.m. on Estates Drive, a boyfriend and girlfriend were ina verbal argument and agreed to separate for the night.

November 14

At 3:35 p.m. on Donner Pass Road, officers responded to a report of an unconscious person in an apartment. The subject was determined to be deceased.

At 7:13 p.m. on Deerfield Drive, someone reported that an unknown suspect had driven away from a gas pump with the handle still attached. Information report only.

November 15

At 9:18 a.m., resident reported the theft and use of his credit card.

At 1:35 p.m., a Donner Pass Road resident reported unauthorized charges on her credit card.

At 1:42 p.m., officers responded to a vehicle crash between a delivery van and a public bus.

At 9:22 p.m. on Sierra Drive, a subject was contacted and arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. Subject later released.
