Obituary: Foster Clarke

Foster Clarke, long time Truckee resident, passed away peacefully in his home on October 20th, 2015.

Foster was born in Marysville, California in 1933. He served as a radar man in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. For decades, he was a produce manager in the Truckee Tahoe area.

He was a loving and devoted husband to Carol June Clarke and then Connie Penn Clarke throughout their respective lives.

His golden years were spent in front of his garage on West River Street where he shared a friendly wave and a joyful smile with all passers by.

Foster is survived by his children, grandchildren, great grand children, and his dog Snowball. His generosity, warmth, and boundless joy will be missed.

A celebration of life will be held at Foster¹s residence (10055 West River Street) in Truckee on Saturday, November 7th from 12 to 5 pm. All are welcome to come by and share their memories of Foster.
