A total of 12 inches of snow fell at Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows this weekend, the ski resort said on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 6.
With the National Weather Service Office in Reno calling for low temperatures well below freezing in coming days, the resort is continuing to make snow.
The resort plans to open for the 2017-18 season on Nov. 17.
