On the Hill: New snow means lightning-fast groomers

On the Hill, brought to you by the Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, brings you a video report showcasing Tahoe's ski conditions every day.

Breakdown: Join Tahoe 'On the Hill' reporter Brian Hamilton for a run down Zachary at Kirkwood. Kirkwood received 2” in the last 24 hours, which fell on top of freshly groomed runs. This made for super nice and fast groomers. There are also plenty of powder stashes left over. The big storm is moving in this afternoon and is expected to leave several feet over today and tomorrow.

Kirkwood official report: 2” in past 24 hours

Field report: 2” in the last 24 hours. A fresh dusting over groomed conditions is making for really fast corduroy

Weather: Partly cloudy and currently 32 degrees. Snow is expected to increase and get very heavy throughout the day.

Liftline status: Practically no one here this morning!

Snowcast: A massive storm is predicted to move in today and bring significant snowfall everyday through Sunday! Tahoe is going to look very different by Monday.
