Lake Tahoe dummies crash and burn at Diamond Peak (photo slideshow)

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Hundreds of residents and skiers were on hand for the 16th annual Dummy Downhill this past Saturday at Diamond Peak in Incline Village.

The ski resort’s marquee spring event featured dummies of all shapes and sizes. Below are this year’s winners, as provided to the Bonanza by the Incline Village General Improvement District:

Creativity: Boston Ski Party



Best Crash: Super 2nd Graders

Farthest Distance: Dyn-O-Mite



Shortest Distance: Ichabod Plane

Still Intact: Yosh-ski

Best Overall: Kinder Weather Bear

Judges for the event included: Scott Comstock, Owner of Hacienda De La Sierra; Kendra Wong ­ IVGID Board Chairwoman and Sierra Nevada College Business Department Chair and Professor; Mike Coudriet, Youth Director at Cornerstone Community Church and Incline High School Boys Soccer Head Coach; and Briana Luce ­ Liftopia, Customer Support Team Lead.
