Tahoe Fall Fest returns this week to Gar Woods
The fifth annual Tahoe Fall Fest benefiting Tahoe’s Connection for Families is Thursday, September 24, at Gar Woods in Carnelian Bay.
The Western-themed fundraiser begins at 6 p.m. and will feature mighty fine grub by Gar Woods. Paul Covarelli and Band will provide live entertainment again this year and guests will be kicking up their heels to their music. Line dancing and lessons will also be held throughout the evening.
The fun doesn’t stop on the dance floor. Guests can join in games to win fine wine, tip off the sheriff to lasso friends and haul ‘em off to jail, and bid at the silent and live auctions for items such as vacations, a flight over Tahoe, swim and adventure parties, popular event tickets and buy-in parties for children and adults.
In addition, 40 items will be won through the raffle.
Fall Fest Co-Chair Katie McCandless, who joined TCF two years ago when she moved to Incline, shared, “TCF is an outlet for me and my toddler to meet other families. It has been a tremendous experience learning and growing for my two children and myself.”
McCandless also stated how grateful she is for the generosity and support of the community and families.
“Fall Fest is a wonderful opportunity to support a fabulous organization and to broaden our community of families,” she said. “We are truly grateful so many companies and families have shown support for this event!”
Tahoe Fall Fest is TCF’s largest annual fundraiser, and all event proceeds directly benefit TCF and its programs to support parents and children.
Tahoe’s Connection for Families, a nonprofit organization in Incline Village, provides parenting education and early childhood development programs for families with infants and toddlers up to pre-school.
