1. Truckee Ice Rink Opening

The Truckee Ice Skating Rink officially opens for the season on Friday, Nov. 24, featuring public skating, skate rentals, a snack bar, all age group and private lessons, broomball leagues and more.

Where: Truckee River Regional Park | 10500 Brockway Road, Truckee

When: Friday, Nov. 24 | 10 a.m.

Cost: $6 resident w/local ID, $7 non-resident, $3 skate rentals


2. Warren Miller’s “Line of Descent”

Warren Miller’s 68th full-feature was filmed at Squaw Valley and narrated by Jonny Moseley. Celebrate the start of ski and snowboard season with this inspiring movie.

3. Abbacadabra – The Ultimate ABBA Concert

Get your “Dancing Queen” fix during this tribute band’s high-energy production, including full ABBA fashion, sound and flair.

4. Small Business Saturday

Celebrate and support small, local businesses on Saturday, Nov. 25, during the national campaign. Tahoe City will host their Holiday Hop

5. Painting Snow in Watercolor

Learn to paint with watercolors from local artist Eva Nichols to create beautiful snowy landscape paintings.

6. Light Up the Night

Tahoe Donner will light up the night from the Lodge Restaurant & Pub on Thanksgiving weekend, celebrating the kick off of the holiday season.

7. Jack Mosbacher Band

9. The Art of Mixology

Learn to expertly craft three timeless cocktails using classic ingredients, includes appetizer pairing.

10. Streets of Truckee

Richard Blair will host his popular Streets of Truckee performance with actors and a narrator, while guests enjoy delicious meals from Cottonwood Restaurant.
