Undy Ski Day to raise colon cancer awareness

Staff report

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Diamond Peak has teamed up with the Incline Village Community Hospital and the Colon Cancer Alliance for Undy Ski Day in honor of Colon Cancer Awareness Month.

The event begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at the Incline Village ski resort.

Diamond Peak will feature special lift ticket deals, Zumba, live music on the deck — and an "undy" ski mob down the mountain.

Get a $35 lift ticket for visibly sporting your underwear by wearing them over your ski pants, on your helmet, as a cape, or in other creative ways.

Resort officials ask residents and visitors to please wear appropriate clothing underneath your underwear, however.

Residents can also visit IVCH and Colon Cancer Alliance booths on the Base Lodge deck for goodies and information about colon cancer prevention.
