On Saturday, Alpenglow Sports will ring in the 2019 Winter Mountain Festival with a screening of Mountainfilm on Tour in the Olympic Village Lodge at Squaw Valley.

Tickets for the screening cost $12 for adults, $8 for students and $5 ages 15 & under and can be purchased online at alpenglowsports.com. Doors open at 5:45 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m.

Mountainfilm on Tour brings a selection of documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm festival held every Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado. The films will explore themes connected to Mountainfilm's mission: using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.

The films will showcase nonfiction stories about environmental, cultural, climbing, political and social justice issues that matter. Mountainfilm travels throughout the world with a selection of current and best-loved adventure films from their annual flagship festival.

A Mountainfilm presenter will guide the audience through the program providing insight on the films, filmmakers and subjects. The major sponsor brands of Mountain Festival will be on hand with their products on display.

Join Alpenglow Sports on Saturday, February 16th to help kick off the 2019 Winter Mountain Festival. The only North Tahoe screening will be followed by over 80+ individual events through Feb.16-24.
