Skrillex, Zedd among this year’s SnowGlobe Music Festival artists

Electronic dance music heavyweights Skrillex, Zedd, Porter Robinson, Disclosure, Phantogram and Flux Pavilion, as well as Minnesota hip-hop veterans Atmosphere, will be among the performers at this year's SnowGlobe Music Festival in South Lake Tahoe.
The three-day music festival, now in its fourth year, takes place Dec. 29-31 at the community playfields next to Lake Tahoe Community College.
Skrillex, also known as Sonny Moore, is a Los Angeles producer who has won six Grammy Awards since 2012, including for work on his albums "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" and "Bangarang."
He released is latest album, "Recess," in March via a cryptic app that began unlocking songs every 30 minutes.
Moore ranked ninth on Forbes magazine's highest paid DJs list for 2014, reportedly earning $16.5 million.
Zedd ranked just above Moore on the list. Zedd, born Anton Zaslavski, came in seventh on the Forbes list, earning $21 million. The Russian-born performer is best known for his work on the tracks "Clarity" and "Break Free."

He won Best Dance Recording for the former at this year's Grammy Awards. SnowGlobe performer and U.K. duo Disclosure was nominated for Best/Dance Electronica Album at the same ceremony for its debut album, "Settle."
Also performing at this year's festival will be Emancipator Ensemble, Odesza, Flume, Bro Safari, Justin Martin, Cherub, Thomas Jack, The Floozies, Branchez and Djemba Djemba.
Three-day tickets to the SnowGlobe Music Festival start at $169 plus fees.
