1. Scenic weekend walk

This American Volkssport Association walk is sponsored by local nonprofit hiking club, Tahoe Trail Trekkers. All walkers must start between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and must finish by 4 p.m. — 10K and 6K walks available. Event day registration will be at Squaw Valley Chapel.

2. Music on the Beach

The annual summer outdoor concert series on the beach in Kings Beach continues Friday with a performance from the Boston-based band Rapplesauce.
