1. Great Skate Fundraiser



The Sierra Expeditionary Learning School celebrates its fourth annual roller skating fundraiser on Friday, June 2, where proceeds will benefit K-8 public charter school programs.

When: Friday, June 2 | 4 – 9 p.m.

2. Reno-Tahoe Odyssey Relay

Pre-register to compete, or spectate as runners race from Wingfield Park in Reno along the Truckee River. The relay passes through Truckee, Tahoe City, South Lake Tahoe, Genoa, Carson City, and Virginia City, returning to Idelwild.

When: Friday, June 2 – Saturday, June 3

Where: Relay from Reno to Tahoe and back

Cost: Starting at $125 per runner, team of 12

3. Ski Run Farmers Market & Street Fair

Every Friday afternoon through August, South Lake Tahoe hosts a market and street fair, selling farm fresh produce, honey, locally raised meats, hot food for dinner, handmade ice cream, chocolate and more.

4. North Lake Tahoe Community Cleanup Day

Volunteers can work together clearing litter from the streets and trails in Incline Village. Participants should wear sturdy shoes, work clothes, sunscreen and bring a water bottle and work gloves.

5. Fun-Damental Mountain Biking Series for Kids

Kids age 9-12 can join this interactive series, which will teach them the fundamentals of mountain biking including technique, navigating obstacles, trail etiquette, and safety.

When: Saturday, June 3 | 9 a.m.

Where: Alder Creek Adventure Center + Café & Trailside Bar

Cost: $149 per session

6. 13th Annual Truckee Day

Participate in the town-wide clean up and civic-pride day cleaning stretches of road in your neighborhood and including a complimentary lunch for workers.

When: Saturday, June 3 | 8 a.m.

7. Introduction to Energy for Kids

Kids age 5-12 are invited to learn about energy, staying balanced and connected during a two-day class. 5th Element Healing Center co-founders will teach children all about energy.

When: Saturday, June 3 | 9 a.m. – noon.

8. Truckee Running Festival

Enjoy a morning of trail running and fun with kids and families at Riverview Park in Truckee during a 5K fundraiser for Girls on the Run Sierras. Pre-registration is required.

9. Junior Golf Extravaganza

Kids age 8-14 can learn new golf skills in a fun atmosphere at the Old Greenwood Golf Course. Clubs will be available for kids to learn with.

10. Truckee Community Farmers Market

Sunday kicks off the third season of the Truckee Community Farmers Market
