INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — The Tahoe Chamber Music Society kicks off its 2016 season this Sunday, June 19.

For our first concert, we are pleased to present a lively, quirky group of professional performers, the One Found Sound Quintet.

The OFSQ is a woodwind quintet based in San Francisco. The quintet is on a mission to bring the thrill of less frequently performed chamber works to broad audiences in new spaces. On the program will be works by Nielsen, Taffanel and Françaix.

Here’s how they describe themselves: “We bring our unique programs to unconventional Bay Area venues including everything from living rooms to bars, and wineries to warehouse spaces. We encourage our audiences … to clap whenever they feel so moved. Bolstered by the enthusiasm of our audiences we strive to convey the power of individual voices joining together to create one unique performance.”

This recital is the first of six concerts presented on consecutive Sundays at 2:30 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church on the corner of Village and Northwood boulevards.
