Alder Creek Road intersection safety meeting

On Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 6:15 to 8 p.m., the Town of Truckee Engineering Division, in conjunction with Caltrans, the California Highway Patrol and the Truckee Police Department, will host a public meeting to discuss options for improving safety at the intersection of State Route 89 North and Alder Creek Road.

The meeting will be held in council chambers, upstairs in Town Hall, on Truckee Airport Road.

This meeting provides an opportunity to learn about the short-term improvements Caltrans has recenlty implemented as well as an opportunity to discuss the pros and cons of potential long-term safety improvements. Town and State staff will be available to answer specific questions and discuss comments by members of the public.
