ALERT: Donner Lake on boil advisory again

The Truckee Donner Public Utility District has issued an immediate

advisory to the Donner Lake Area to boil water until further notice.

One of the area’s pumps stations went down due to loss of power caused bystorm damage.

Though the station is currently back up and running, it must clear two

tests by the California Department of Health Services. The advisory will last until at least Friday, Dec. 27, and affects all Doner Lake residents and others obtaining water from the system.
