Formal sentencing for the Kings Beach woman charged on suspicion of attempted murder has been scheduled for next month.

Glenda Bronson, 23, allegedly stabbed her boyfriend, Matthew Fry, 26, on Sept. 12.

Bronson pleaded guilty Oct. 23 to charges of assault with personal use of a deadly weapon and to great bodily injury in Placer County’s Tahoe City courtroom.

She is scheduled to return Nov. 20 for sentencing.

Following an argument in the Kings Beach residence of Bronson and Fry, Bronson reportedly armed herself with a steak knife and repeatedly “went after [Fry] slashing him and stabbing him,” Placer County sheriff’s Lt. John Addoms said in a release.

Fry reported the event with the Sparks Police Department when he drove to his parents’ home in Sparks, Nev., and was treated and released at a Sparks hospital.
