Alpine Meadows, Homewood offer early bird season pass prices

OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. and#8212; Alpine Meadows and Homewood resorts have revealed early bird pass rates for the 2011-12 ski season.
The resorts will offer three options for prospective skiers, with prices decreasing in proportion to the amount of blackout dates associated with the pass.
For instance, the Filtered Season Pass allows access to the mountain Sunday through Friday, with all Saturdays blacked out. Additionally, holiday blackout dates include Dec. 16, 2011 through Dec. 31 2011; Jan. 14 and 15, 2012; Feb. 18, 2012 and Feb. 19, 2012.
The Slightly Filtered Season Pass offers access seven days a week with the exception of the holiday periods listed above.
The Unfiltered Season Pass offers unlimited access. All season passes are valid at Alpine Meadows and Homewood Ski Resort on the West Shore, as well as Red Lodge Mountain Resort in Red Lodge, Mont.

Filtered Season Pass and#8212; $359
Slightly Filtered Season Pass and#8212; $499
Unfiltered Season Pass and#8212; $699 (adult), $259 (teen – 13-18), $149 (kids – 5-12), $369 (seniors – 62-29) and $99 for seniors 70+.
The Unfiltered Family Season Pass and#8212; $1,499 for two adults and two child or teen passes.

Subaru pulled out of Truckee River; driver suffers minor injuries
