Classy Garage Sale set for June 13
June 4, 2015
The annual garage sale fundraiser hosted by the North Lake Tahoe Community Health Care Auxiliary returns to Incline Village on Saturday, June 13, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the parking lot grounds of the Incline Village Community Hospital.
Auxiliary members are gearing up for a very successful Classy Garage Sale, especially since it was sorely missed last year.
"We need our community's participation in the way of donations," explains Karen Kuehnis, who is spearheading the pre-sale efforts. "You can make arrangements to drop them off at our storage unit, or for a free pick-up."
Tax deduction are available. Residents and visitors are encouraged do their spring cleaning and save any of the following for the sale: furniture, small appliances, dinnerware, toys, sporting goods, tools, linens, pots and pans, fashion jewelry, linens and more.
In addition, the organization is renting individual parking spaces to anyone who might want to hold their own sale at the same time. One space is $35 and two or more spaces are $30 each.
The Auciliary meets every other month on the first Monday, starting in February. Though most meetings are held in the Community Room of the Incline Village Community Hospital located, the group often meets in other locations. For information, contact Kuehnis at 775-833-3244.
