Be a Challenge Day volunteer
Volunteers are needed for the ninth grade Challenge Days. Join an inspiring day of self-discovery and community. Participate in interactive activities teaching students to “Be the Change” in their lives. Challenge Day Leaders work to create trust and connection by helping ninth-graders step out of their comfort zones through music, games and small group activities. The students learn to recognize stereotypes and labels, which makes them more willing to reach out and connect with new peers. Your job as a volunteer is to actively participate with positive energy and an open heart. Interested volunteers may email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Challenge Day dates are: Oct. 20 and 21 Truckee High School, Oct. 23 North Tahoe High.
