Celebrate Earth Day Friday, April 22. Incline Village is not having a festival this year, but take a walk along Lakeshore and enjoy the spring flowers that are now in bloom. From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, at Idlewild Park in Reno, participate in a great Earth Day celebration.
The Rotary Club of Incline Village invites all Rotarians for a Rotary Work Day at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 23, at the Dan Sparks Chevron Station on the corner of Village and Tahoe Blvd. Help remove weeds and prepare the Rotary Community Flower Garden. Please bring gloves, rakes, hoes, shovels etc. Trash bags will be provided. Please bring a pick- up truck if you have one to take filled trash bags to Waste Management.
The Incline High School Baseball team will be playing a game against Whittell High School Baseball team at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, at the Greater Nevada Field (Aces Ball Park) in Reno. Plan to attend the game and cheer on our home team!
The annual Tahoe Teddy Bear Picnic is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at Aspen Grove. Grab a teddy bear and support Tahoe’s Connection for Families while enjoying live music and time with family and friends. Plan to attend the Incline Village Community Hospital Auxiliary’s Classy Garage Sale Saturday, June 4. Donations can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, June 3, at the hospital parking lot. Individual spaces are available and to rent a space contact Karen at 775-833-3244 or Barbara at 775-832-6760. Remember to Save the Date for the AAUW’s Tahoe Treasures Tour Saturday, July 9, in Incline. Tickets will be available at The Potlatch on June 1.
Save the date for Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation’s annual food and wine event, The Community Table Friday, Sept. 9. The event is at the Shakespeare Ranch in Glenbrook and features special guest Chef Pamela Mazzola of San Francisco’s Prospect Restaurant. Tickets will go on sale in June.
