Kings Beach Library can help you with your resolutions
Whether it’s patience, weight loss, money management or new hobbies, Kings Beach Library has several materials and upcoming classes to help locals achieve their New Year’s Resolution.
The library, stocked with books, DVDs, CDs, computers, WiFi and Tablets, offers free computer classes on Thursdays. The 2 p.m. Jan. 8 class features Carl Leblanc of Tahoe Tech Group, who will host a Q-and-A; anyone with technology questions is encouraged to attend.
On Tuesday, Jan. 13, the library will host a “Bridge Basics” session, taught by master player Julie Ginocchio. Residents are encouraged to come gain a basic understanding of the card game.
On Thursday, Jan. 15, the library will host another “Understanding your iPhone” session, and on Jan. 22, Doug Greenwood will teach a class on Microsoft Office: “How to create business cards, greeting cards and fliers.”
Beginning in February, the library will offer an “Introduction to Computers” series in Spanish. Visit the library at 301 Secline Street in Kings Beach, or call 530-546-2021 for information.
