North Tahoe-Truckee community briefs: Week of Aug. 22, 2016

Coming Friday: 2016 Best Of results

During the month of July, the Sierra Sun and North Lake Tahoe Bonanza conducted the 2016 Best Of North Lake Tahoe & Truckee online contest.

After the contest wrapped on July 31, more than 54,000 votes were tallied from this year’s entries, 100 percent of which were write-ins from residents and visitors.

Results from 112 categories will be announced online Friday, Aug. 26, at SierraSun.com, and you can also find the winners, runners-up and honorable mentions in a special 40-page section that will be inserted in the Friday, Aug. 26, edition of the Sierra Sun.

If you want to learn more about how we can market your business, or if you have questions about the contest, email Sun-Bonanza Advertising Director Ben Rogers at brogers@sierrasun.com.
