Obituary: Jimmie G. Doyle

Jimmie G. Doyle passed away peacefully on May 25, 2016, at a hospital in Chico, California.

He was born on March 26, 1947, in Pasadena, CA to Gloria and Forest “Buster” Doyle. During his 68 years of life, he had the good fortune to live in some beautiful places including Huntington Beach, Hawaii, North Lake Tahoe, Baja Mexico and finally Westwood, California.

Jim enjoyed fishing, basketball, softball and golf. Jim also enjoyed proudly watching and coaching his sons in their various sporting events. He enjoyed living in the North Lake Tahoe area from 1977 to 2005. He worked in home construction until an injury forced his early retirement.

He is survived by his son, Tom Doyle of Livermore CA, and Randall Doyle of Redding, as well as his sister Renee Fuss and brother Jerry Doyle. Jim also had one grand-daughter, Callie Doyle whom he adored very much. Jim will be missed by his family and friends.

Jim was best known for his passion for sports and would always share a good laugh or story with anyone. The 49ers and LA Lakers have lost a truly diehard fan!

A family memorial was held in his honor on the west-shore of Lake Tahoe.
