Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nevada County and North Lake Tahoe would like to thank all members of the Girls Giving Back group for their donation of $2,500 in support of our local mentoring programs — specifically our Bigs in Blue partnership with the Truckee Police Department.

Girls Giving Back is a youth-driven initiative of the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation’s Queen of Hearts Women’s Fund working to engage the next generation of women in philanthropy. The group is open to girls ages 11 to 18 (or though high school) and is currently recruiting new members.

Please see http://www.TTCF.net for more information.
