Sunshine Letter: Billy Dutton Uphill a huge success

On April 10, 80 racers completed the grueling climb from the bottom of Squaw Valley to High Camp in the 26th Annual Billy Dutton Uphill race, held each year to honor the memory of long time Squaw Valley skier Billy Dutton. Proceeds from the race go to support the Far West Nordic junior ski programs.

Far West would like to extend sincere gratitude to all of the volunteers and to the following individuals and businesses whose donations contributed to the success of the event: The Dutton/Walsh family, Squaw Valley, Gizdich Ranch, Alpine Stone Works, Auburn Ski Club, Blue Coyote, The Bridgetender, Cabona’s, Marilyn’s Catwalk, Dave’s Ski Shop, Sonja Harris, Inner Power Acupuncture, Jake’s on the Lake, Lake Tahoe Wellness Center, Laura DesLaurier, Mickey’s Big Mac Charters, The River Ranch, Tahoe Adrift, Tahoe Cross Country, Duncan Golf Management, Tahoe Tech Group, Waterman’s Landing, Wild Cherries, and many others.

Thanks to all.
