Village Notes: What’s happening in Incline Village
Special to the Bonanza
Fall officially begins on Sunday, and the cold overnight temperatures are certainly cooperating with the calendar. Hibernation is recommended, not only for our local bears this weekend, but it might be a suggestion for all locals with the Ironman activities taking place in our area. Be sure to check out the official Spectator Guide if you are interested in attending Ironman events.
The Tahoe Family Solutions annual Bowl-A-Thon is off to a “slow roll” and more teams are needed to participate in this fun event. Put together a team and challenge some of the other local organizations or businesses in the village. This fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 28, supports TFS. For information call 775-298-0004.

Congratulations to local author Bruce Simonian. His book, “Reunion” is now available. If you missed the official book signing, you can still purchase a copy and he will be happy to sign it for you.
We missed a birthday earlier this month, but it is never too late to wish happy birthday to Deborah Fishman. Her birthday was on Sept. 11. Birthdays to celebrate this week include: Marge Sylvester on Sept. 21; Mike Chamberlain on Sept. 23 and Shasta Bacon on Sept. 25. Happy Birthday!
The best deal and steal in the Village this week is anything in Incline. Lots of sales taking place right now and Leniki Boutique in Christmas Tree Village will be closing soon, so everything is on sale there.
As always send in your birthdays, anniversaries, and news, along with the best deals or steals you can find, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
