Village Notes: What’s happening in Incline Village

Hooray — it is not even the first day of October and we have experienced our first snow of the season. Let’s hope this will continue now and we can have a real Tahoe winter — bring it on!

From 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, enjoy international hors d’oeuvres and music as well as a drawing sponsored by St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church at the Third Creek Clubhouse. Raffle ticket information is available at http://www.tahoeEpiscopal.org and you do not need to be present to win.

Congratulations to Charlie Zendner. He has been selected as a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. Way to go Charlie!

Oh no we missed Marilyn Berliner’s birthday on Sept. 20. Happy Birthday a little late Marilyn! Another birthday to celebrate this week: Dina Marshal on Oct. 3. Happy Birthday!

The best deal and steal in the Village this week is the annual Bowl-A-Thon on Saturday at Bowl Incline for Tahoe Family Solutions. If you totally forgot to register your team and just realized it, call 775-298-0004 immediately. This is not only a great way to spend your Saturday but helps a local non-profit in our community.

As always send in your birthdays, anniversaries, and news, along with the best deals or steals you can find, to jeanmeick@aol.com.
