Village Notes: What’s happening in Incline Village

Time for the end of the summer parties at Tahoe. School starts on Monday, and once school is back in session, it is the perfect time to enjoy Tahoe Time during the school hours. Grab a lunch and celebrate.

Don’t forget to attend the Tastes of Incline annual fundraiser tonight (Aug. 21) at the Chateau.

Everyone is invited to help support the Open Mic tonight (Aug. 21) at the Mark Twain Cultural Center and Toccata Guttman Music Hall located in the Village Center. Mike Trute and Brendan O’Donovan invite you to karaoke, poetry and comedy.



Saturday, Aug. 23, is the Women’s Club of North Lake Tahoe annual fashion show, “What to Wear,” from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Montreux Golf and Country Club. The Bee Incline Quilters will have their August meeting on Thursday, Aug. 28, at the Incline Village Library. All levels of quilters are invited to join the group from 1-4 p.m.



The Incline Village & Crystal Bay Historical Society presents the Mark Twain Kayak Tour of Lake Tahoe. Event stars at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30. Visit bit.ly/twainkayak to reserve your spot or for more information.

Congratulations for two aces on Aug. 1 at the Mountain Golf Course. Steve Page had his on No. 7, and Fong Ying Cardy on No. 17. Way to go!

Toni and Bob Langsfeld are visiting their daughter Cara in Spokane and hopefully will be back in time to celebrate Bob’s birthday. Enjoy the trip.

Congratulations to Aimee Lafayette, Gotz Sennhenn and big sister MacLean as they welcome Sterling to the family.
