Village Notes: What’s happening in Incline Village

Jean Eick
Special to the Bonanza

This week we officially welcome fall to Tahoe. But we really need to say goodbye to the smoke. I hope we can get the fires out and people can return to their homes so our smoke filled afternoons will come to an end. Thank you to all of our fire fighters and if it continues this weekend will not be very pleasant for all of the Ironman participants.

Just in case your phone is not ringing already you need to know we are heading into another election season. Our local GOP is looking for volunteers to register voters, make calls and advocate for their candidates.

To sign up call Norma at 775-830-2148.

It is time for Ronda to do the annual coat drive at Bar Bar Bar. Next time you go to the PO just drop off your donations and she will take care of the rest. If you have questions, just stop in at Bar Bar Bar and ask Rhonda.

Now is the time to put together a group of co-workers, family members or friends and join the annual Tahoe Family Solutions Bowl-a-thon on Saturday, Oct. 25.
